I breed a very occasional Doberman litter, as the European Doberman is not a dog for the masses. They are large, complex, active and very intelligent animals and need an owner who looks upon their ownership more as a hobby than just "owning a dog". They need time, training and exercise. While they can be quiet in the house, my dogs are NOT "couch potatoes" like some Dobermans. These are dogs bred to step into a working situation if need be - not to just be another generic "yard art" dog.
