Baby Barb
I started with two fantastic foundation bitches; the wonderful brindle Wee Bonnie and the equally wonderful but slightly batty wheaton, "Twizzle", a daughter of AKC Ch. Higgin's Checkov. For Twizzle's last litter (before her retirement) I bred her to my outstanding son of AKC Ch. Teddy Bear McGreen. The result was an absolute star - my "Barb Wire"!
Barb was a standout from day one. The naughtiest puppy EVER! She had a boldness and courage that was amazing. She has developed into an amazing cairn. She has a determination and agility that has to be seen to be believed, and I look forward to showing her in AKC Earth Dog tests very soon.
I would have loved to try showing her in her natural coat, but she got a hematoma in her ear as a pup that made it tip, so the show ring is out. Doesn't matter to her or I though, as she is everybody's favorite little demon and her first litter produced two of the best pups I've ever had here. (I kept them both!)
