My amazing stud dog Lord is 7 years old now, and I felt it was time to breed and keep his replacement. I wanted to capture all the excellent points of Lord to carry on as I breed in my heart-healthy working line dogs into my show-line dogs to improve the health of the show-line dogs.
Odin had so many of the points I am trying to set in my line of dogs, such as thick, weather proof coat, strong bone, solid, outgoing temperament and hardness that I can forgive him his slightly muddy markings on his face. No dog is perfect and you have to pick your battles. I'll take less than perfect markings over any of the much more important elements!
Odin is like his sire in that he is pushy, proud, bold and friendly. I just can't wait to breed him to either Maulie or Demenet in the future.
His mom, Ice Cold Katie, is a SOLID, amazing girl who is a real asset to my program and I am glad to preserve her genetics in this son of hers.
Katie's sire is IABCA Int. Ch. XDog vom Gerdautal (German Import) a son of 2017 Sieger Tahi-Reme Jedi, IPO I, ZTP V1A and Toxic vom Gerdautal, ZTP V1A.
Lord's sire is the Polish Import Amen Daker, IPO 2.
